Candle Care
Getting the most out of your candle
The very first burn
This is very important to the life of your candle! The first time you burn your candle, you want to melt the wax all the way to the edge of the container. This can take about 1 hour per inch across the widest part of your container. Failure to do this will result in a “tunneling” candle and will not use all the wax available. This also prevents “memory rings” from forming.
Prevent smoke & stained containers
Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch each time you burn your candle. This will also get rid of the mushroom at the end of the wick.
Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
Keep out of reach of children & pets.
Always burn on a level, fire resistant surface.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at time.
Stop use when about 1/2" wax remains.
Never extinguish a candle fire with water.
